Formed in 2001, Pangea Pham is comprised of all five artists on Boston indie label Acuta Records’s roster: Jug and Cube Ref (who record as a group under the name Tru Indeed), Tystormz and Session (who form Acuta’s other group, StormSession), and Diogenes (the label’s only solo artist). Through the release of volumes 1 and 2 of The Acuta Bootlegs mix CDs, their energetic stage shows, and opening up for acts like Mr. Lif and Black Sheep, hip hop fans throughout the New England area have become well-acquainted with the dynamism and lyricism of these five young men.
